70-year-old French aeronautical engineer Guy Nègre has invented the AirPod, an alternative fuel vehicle powered by compressed air. To manufacture it in mass, his company (MDI) has made a partnership with Indian manufacturer Tata Motors. Several versions will be sold at around $5,000, some going to 70km/h (43 mph) and some limited at 45 km/h (28 mph). It is told that you can drive the AirPod for 100 km (62 miles) on a 1-minute recharge of compressed air. The AirPod would be used as an emission-free vehicle for urban areas, golf fields, airports and stuff like that.
